Created in 2014 by women entrepreneurs, Rachel has always had the achievement and well-being of women at heart. Through the Horizon program, we reiterate our commitment to this cause by establishing very concrete actions to help improve the well-being of women in need and their living conditions. We know that, together, we can make a difference.
Rachel began its partnership with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation in October 2022, during the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Since then, Rachel chooses a different pair of tights each month and for each pair sold, $1 is donated to the Foundation.
For the past 3 years, Rachel has participated in the Christmas event at L’Arrêt-Source, a Montreal shelter that helps abused young women. The services offered by the organisation aim to offer security to these young women and to support them so that they become aware of their potential and regain self-confidence.
Rachel dedicated the month of March 2022 to celebrate women! For the occasion, 1% of the sales of their tights has been donated to the Marie Eve Center which welcomes and supports women in precarious situations during and after their pregnancy.
Last year, $2,885 was collected and donated to the Fondation Le Chaînon which, for almost 90 years, has made it its mission to welcome women in need, unconditionally and without judgment, through safe housing as well as assistance and support adapted to their specific needs.
